The Dodgeball Sydney Showdown our newest tournament for 2024!. This is a gendered tournament (Men's & Women's Divisions)with WDBF Rules. This tournament will be over 2 days on the June long weekend at our newest venue, Blacktown Leisure Centre (Stanhope Gardens) Information Below: Venue: Blacktown Leisure Centre Address: Stanhope Parkway & Sentry Drive, Stanhope Gardens, NSW 2768 Date: Saturday 8th June and Sunday 9th June 2024 Competition Format: Gendered Competition (Men's & Women's Division). WDBF Official Rules with slight variances for the tournament. Maximum of 10 players per team. Cost: $900 per team Prize: Prize for each gender. 1st Prize of $1500, 2nd Prize $900, 3rd Place $450. There will be medals across for all genders. MVP prizes and more prizes will be announced. Registration: Registration will open on 4th May at 10am but will close on the 17th May 2024 OR until sold out. Payment must be made IN FULL with your registration. In order to secure your spot you will need to pay the registration up front. We will email all registered teams a general info pack 1 weeks prior to the tournament starting. Full team lists for the tournament are not required for registration but we will need the lists by 24th May 2024. Dodgeball Sydney's Tuesday's competition at Fairfield is coming back for Autumn 2024 with some slight changes! We are now bringing our popular 7 Inch format to Tuesday at Fairfield! We will be allowing all previous players from Tuesday to come and give this format a go. This league will be specific to all players but will include those transitioning from 6 inch leagues! It will be a Super League which means no female requirement so you can play in men's teams, mixed teams and even full women's teams! All you need is 6 people to play! Open to all skill levels. All you need is a team of 6 to play. If you don't have a team not to worry as we will can place you into a team. Below are the details of the league: Competition Length: 12 week Season starting Tuesday 2nd April 2024 Cost: $1040 per team plus Team Insurance Flat Fee ($160 per team) Game Times: Game times will vary from 6:55pm, 7:30pm and 8:05pm Game length: 35 minutes total game time with 2 x 17.5 minute halves Season Finish: Tuesday 18th June 2024 Registration Closes: Friday 29th March 2024 or until capacity for the league is full Additional Information: There is limited capacity for this league but we can flex dependent on interest! In partnership with Canterbury Bankstown Council and Morris Iemma Indoor Sports Centre we are bringing our mid week Dodgeball for its 3rd season! This means it is open to All Men's, All Women's or Mixed teams. All you need is a team of 6 and learn the World Dodgeball Federation rules game format just like the pro's. If you don't have a team, register as an individual we can place you into a team! Our largest and most popular league is back for Autumn 2024! This is the opportunity to improve your skills in the 7 Inch format with WDBF rules in a more relaxed setting and still get to play a competition. The season will be 14 weeks long. This is a social comp for newbies and those looking to get extra social games each week. Individuals that sign up will be placed straight into a team for the whole season if we have capacity for an individual team. Open to All Women's or Mixed teams(Minimum 2 females). We are running it on Thursday Nights at our Riverwood Venue (Morris Iemma Indoors Sports Centre). Below are the details of the league: Competition Length: 14 week Season starting Thursday 4th April 2024 Cost: $1340 per team plus Team insurance fee (Flat Fee $160 per team) Game Times: Game times will vary from , 6:50pm, 7:40pm, 8.20pm or 9.00pm Game length: 40 minutes total game time with 2 x 20 minute halves Season Finish: Thursday 11th July 2024 Registration Closes: Friday 29th March 2024 or until capacity for the league is full Additional Details: There will be no games from Thursday 25th April 2024 due to the ANZAC Day public holiday.
